Program Description AGEP Summer Research Scholars (SRS) and Master the Doctorate, funded by a National Science Foundation AGEP grant, sponsors underrepresented undergraduates and master's students to participate in hands-on research with leading UCLA faculty in science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM) fields. Program includes travel reimbursement, on-campus housing (all program participants are required to reside in assigned University housing), meal allowance, GRE test preparation, workshops, seminars and poster presentations. Deadline All application materials and supporting documents must be received by February 6, 2009. Incomplete files will not be reviewed. Notification of decisions on applications will be made by the end of May 2009. How To Apply Please select the 'UCLA NSF AGEP Summer Research Scholars' option if you are an undergraduate or 'Master the Doctorate" option if you are in a master's program on the Summer Program for Undergraduate & Graduate Research Application and in your application essay identify the type of research that you are interested in and explain why.
