The Graduate Division web site contains official pages that support our overall mission. While most pages are publicly accessible, certain services and information offered on-line may be restricted to specific users or segments of the UCLA population. Security

This site has security measures in place to protect the loss, misuse and alteration of the information under our control. Information collected on our online forms go through a secured server that utilizes Secured Sockets Layer (SSL) protocol and a Secure Server Digital ID encryption.

 
Privacy Policy

This site collects information to improve usability, content, and performance. We use your IP address to help diagnose problems with our server, determine which parts of our site are most heavily used, and compile site statistics. We do not link IP addresses to anything personally identifiable. This means that user sessions are tracked but users remain anonymous. Our web logs, created to monitor the site, are generally destroyed after 120 days.

Site History

The Graduate Division's electronic publishing efforts began in 1993 with the development of the Graduate Division gopher, a precursor to the web. In 1995 the Graduate Division debut its first web site. The current design, our 4th version, was launched late January 2006. The site is designed, managed, and hosted within the Graduate Division.
